Larissa Camejo, M.D.
Dr. Camejo is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist,
born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela who received her Medical Degree from the
Central University of Venezuela “J.M. Vargas” School of Medicine in 1999,
graduating at the top of her class. She
completed her Ophthalmology Residency in 2006 at the University of Pittsburgh
where she also completed her Glaucoma fellowship in 2007. Dr. Camejo was an
Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh from 2007 to 2011. During
this time, Dr. Camejo was very involved in the teaching of residents and
research in addition to the medical and surgical care of her patients.
Dr. Camejo has extensive clinical and surgical experience to provide top of the line care for patients with glaucoma and cataracts. She uses the latest diagnostic and laser technologies and performs the latest surgical procedures available for the treatment of glaucoma. She also treats other eye conditions such as diabetic eye disease and corneal and retinal diseases.
Dr. Camejo enjoys practicing Ophthalmology with the highest standards and creating long-lasting relationships with her patients. She is a truly caring physician with attention to detail who takes pride in providing personable and personalized care. Dr. Camejo is fluent in Spanish.
She lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband and daughter.
