Dr. Brockman is a board-certified optometrist with Therapeutic Drug Certification. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He received his Doctorate in Optometry, graduating with distinction, from Pacific University College of Optometry.
Dr. Brockman performed an internship at the Darnall Army Community Hospital and completed his Optometry Residency in Ocular Diseases and Geriatrics at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Portland. After his residency, Dr. Brockman worked alongside the country’s top ophthalmologists at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He was Clinical Director for the Palm Beach Gardens facility prior to joining Florida Vision Institute in 2003.
Dr. Brockman has extensive clinical experience in the areas of glaucoma, cataracts and ocular diseases including dry eye syndrome.
