
Dr. Quentin B. Allen is a board-certified ophthalmologist and refractive cataract surgeon who earned his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his clinical internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and his ophthalmology training at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Dr. Allen has performed more than 25,000 cataract and refractive procedures and is recognized for his expertise in advanced intraocular lens technology, refractive cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He is passionate about delivering highly customized surgical care, using the latest technology to help patients achieve outstanding visual outcomes and greater freedom from glasses.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Allen has served on multiple national committees and advisory boards, including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Complex Cataract Subcommittee and Cataract Clinical Committee. He previously served as President of the CEDARS/ASPENS Society and has held physician-advisory and leadership roles in the ophthalmology industry.
Dr. Allen frequently lectures at national and international ophthalmology meetings and has authored numerous publications and book chapters in the field of cataract and refractive surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Allen enjoys golf, travel, boating, and spending time with his family.
