Dr. Walid Mangal is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in Vitreo-Retinal surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree and Masters’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Mangal was a top graduate completing his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his internship at the Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by his ophthalmology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Mangal completed his sub-specialty fellowship training in Vitreo-Retinal surgery at the National Retina Institute (NRI) in Towson, MD. Dr. Mangal has served Floridians as a medical and surgical Vitreo-Retinal specialist with Florida Vision since 2015.
