LOOK BETTER, FEEL BETTER.
Aging, injury, and genetics can all contribute to our eyes or facial structures appearing differently than we would like. Our cosmetic specialists at Florida Vision Institute are equipped to assist you in achieving your aesthetic goals.
We offer a variety of non-surgical procedures to achieve the best results for you. You are encouraged to come for a free consultation where Dr. Bobo or Dr. Garcia assess your goals and discuss your cosmetic options.
Botox & Dysport
How Botox® Works
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the first prescription medication FDA-approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults.
Typically, lines appear on your forehead and between your eyebrows when you repeatedly tighten your facial muscles. After years of repeating the same muscle tightening movements, such as frowning or scowling, these lines can become deep furrows. With Botox treatment you can expect significant improvement in the depth of these lines.
How Dysport® Works
Using Dysport, wrinkles are smoothed out caused by repeated muscle movements. A single injection at each of the five points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines. Simply put, you get natural-looking results that feel just like you.
In just 10-20 minutes, you may be able to reduce the appearance of frown lines between your eyebrows for up to five months. You can also return to work more quickly following the treatment due to its minimal downtime.
Cosmetic Filler
JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers
JUVÉDERM® is among the top dermal filler collections in the US. Different formulations can plump the lips, smooth facial lines, lift and contour the cheeks, and improve the chin’s shape.
With just one treatment, you can achieve natural-looking results that last up to a year.
How Juvederm® Works
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is the main component of JUVÉDERM® injectable fillers and is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies that can hold up to a thousand times its weight in water. The goal of a JUVÉDERM® treatment is to soften moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles in the lower face using modified hyaluronic acid that temporarily adds volume to those areas.
How Does Restylane Work?
Restylane is a gel containing an organic substance called hyaluronic acid found in the human body. It is used to restore facial volume and fill in mild to moderate facial wrinkles, acne scars, and other facial depressions. It also gives the skin a firm lift, resulting in a radiant and vital facial appearance. Like Juvederm, Restylane hydrates the skin, allowing for natural appearance-enhancing results. Restylane results are usually fully evident within a week following treatment and may last up to six months. Because Restylane is made of a naturally occurring substance, it is safely and gradually absorbed by the body.
Restylane
Restylane is a dermal filler injection recommended for patients who wish to minimize hollowness of the temples, under eyes, and around the mouth, as well as add volume rejuvenation to the cheek, jawline, chin, and lips. In order to achieve the best and safest results, Restylane should be administered by an oculoplastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids and face.
Florida Vision is proud to have Dr. Maria D. Garcia providing Restylane for our patients.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a remarkable option for those seeking a solution to fine lines and blemishes without cosmetic injectables. In addition, chemical peels are low-risk and suitable for a variety of skin types and skin conditions.
How Do Chemical Peels Work?
Should you select this option, Dr. Garcia will work with you to pinpoint the peel best-suited to fit your needs and apply a chemical solution to the problem areas. This solution targets dead skin cells on the topmost layer of the skin and causes them to shed, signaling the living cells underneath to multiply and produce more collagen. This leaves the remaining layer of skin feeling soft and taut.
Are Chemical Peels Right For Me?
Do you have wrinkles or fine lines?
Are you looking to reduce age or sun spots?
Do you suffer from certain types of acne or dry skin?
Do you wish to improve the look and feel of your skin?
Microneedling
What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. Thin needles are used to create tiny holes in your skin’s top layer. As a result of the damage, your skin produces more collagen and elastin, stimulating the healing process. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
Typically, microneedling is done on the face, but it can also be done on your neck where you notice damaged or aging skin. You’ll probably need multiple treatments to achieve your desired results.
Who gets microneedling?
If you have concerns about any of the following, you might want to consider microneedling:
Mild scars, especially those from acne or burns.
Skin discoloration or uneven skin tone.
Enlarged pores.
Fine lines or wrinkles.
Loose or crepey (thin and wrinkled) skin.
